## Description

Product Description Brazos Walking Sticks Twisted Hickory Walking Stick Hiking Trekking Pole Cane Walk confidently through arduous trails or scenic neighbourhood streets with our popular Twisted Hickory Walking Stick. This walking cane and trekking pole is handcrafted from a single piece of hickory, making it superior to other poles and walking sticks that may have moving parts or breakable pieces. Having this stout walking stick in your hand will give you assurance and peace of mind, knowing that you're fully equipped to brave the trail before you, no matter where your feet may roam. Handcrafted in America, One at a Time Unlike sterile, lifeless metal canes and poles, Brazos walking sticks and walking canes offer a holistic feel and natural appeal. Each Brazos piece is made in America by our skilled craftsmen, one at a time. The process starts in the field, as our harvesters carefully and sustainably collect the saplings that we use to create our hiking sticks. From that point the saplings are brought to our Texas facility where they are kiln-dried to ensure maximum usability for our woodworkers. Our craftsmen then size, straighten, and meticulously sand each walking stick, careful to retain each piece's unique characteristics. How to Size a Walking Stick Sizing a walking stick is largely a matter of personal preference, but we do offer recommendations based on our 20 years' experience in the hiking stick and walking cane business: 48" for adults up to 5'4"; 55" for adults between 5'4" and 5'11"; and 58" for adults taller than 5'11". Features Made in America by skilled woodworkers Handcrafted, one at a time A sturdy, dependable, beautiful creation that will last a lifetime Ideal for serious hikers on strenuous trails or for casual walkers who simply want a stable, virtually indestructible walking companion Comes in 4 convenient sizes, and can be easily sized down with a handsaw Box Contains Walking Stick

Review: Ideal Outdoor walking all purpose stick/staff - Wow, really impressed with the quality and sturdiness of my purchase, whether walking my Dog through woods or rough terrain or even walking around town with my Dog it is very comfortable and user friendly. Very Good Buy.
Review: Beautiful classy rustic walking / hiking stick - This walking stick is very well made. Eye catching and very sturdy. I will be using it hiking very soon. No complaints here other than the packaging- this came in a box so huge you would think I got a big screen TV delivered. Kind of wasteful in my opinion even though my order was very safe in it I suggest as a company that something like this come in a tube.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does anyone ever use two of these walking sticks?**
A: Yes, you can use two at a time!

**Q: shipping weight says 4.2oz, is this a typo? Can this wood stick really weigh 4oz???**
A: It might be a typo, I figure it's around a pound, maybe a tad less. Still regardless, for people that don't like canes this is well worth it. Plus you have the added security if someone wants to mess with you. I kinda live in a bad place and when I have to walk somewhere near home, it's nice to have this along, regardless of it's dogs or people. Don't know if I'd use it for mountain lions though (LOL).

**Q: I have some Neuropathy in my feet and need some help with walking. In your opinion, would this help?**
A: I have MS and my neurologist suggested a walking stick rather than a cane when I'm having walking issues, including neuropathy in my feet. I had been using a cane prior to my neurologist's suggestion. So I ordered a walking stick. Personally I find the walking stick more helpful than a cane because I feel more comfortable and secure with it than I do a cane. I am 5'2" short and I ordered a 48" walking stick. Hope this helps!

**Q: Can you add a metal tip at the bottom?**
A: Yes, a metal tip can be added. However, it does take a bit of woodworking skills to install a metal tip on this stick.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful classy rustic walking / hiking stick
*by E***R on 2 June 2025*

This walking stick is very well made. Eye catching and very sturdy. I will be using it hiking very soon. No complaints here other than the packaging- this came in a box so huge you would think I got a big screen TV delivered. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great hiking stick
*by S***O on 3 December 2023*

This is a really good hiking stick - absolutely solid and provides invaluable support for hiking. No sign whatsoever of flex or give with this hickory stick, even when I put a lot of weight on it. However, this stick is on the heavier side, one notices this after several hours of hiking - just switch hands! The heavier weight is more than compensated for the rock solid support that it provides. I wouldn't recommend this stick for someone looking for a more lightweight stick though.
