Although I don't think I could wash this in my top loader washing machine, maybe a front loader would work better. If you have an acrylic tub with slip resistance floor the suction cups will not stick to it, but will stick to smooth surfaces only, so be very careful about the suction of this item. The pillow and back are comfortable, but the material for more delicate body parts is rough so I use a wash clother under those parts.
