I feel ashamed that I read, then ignored, all the negative reviews. These are the only truthful ones. The pictures showing ants swarming over these stations are blatantly fallacious - there is nothing effective in them. Which is why it is boasted that they are completely harmless to pets and humans! Thereby falsely cultivating a large market of safety-conscious consumers for a product that is of sufficiently low value to be an annoyance to return. The clue that there are no volatile, scent emitting compounds in these devices is that they arrive loose, without instructions/warnings, in their unsealed cardboard box. Effective chemicals would need to be preserved (e.g. by means of sealed sachets) until each device needs to be deployed. Further evidence is that ants are in no way drawn to the devices, let alone compelled to go into them. Save your time, money, patience and blood pressure. Avoid!

Fairly effective, but careful placement is required. We also found that its very light so even the slightest gust of wind would move the trap, but its only effective where ants are travelling. Still needs spray and other things like desiccated sand in parallel
