Lots of power
Noisy but I don’t usually use indoors. Works great with yellow tool brand batteries. Fills floating tubs up FAST!! Even works as a small area leaf blower

Excellent Dewalt battery compatibility with good features
Overall I'm very happy with this blower. For what I use it for, it has excellent power and easily meets all my needs. Mainly I uses it for cleaning my other Dewalt tools and equipment in my workshop. Its appearance is right at home with my Dewalt tools, since it uses the same color scheme.Dewalt does not make this kind of blower, and I already have a collection of Dewalt batteries, so buying this blower was an obvious choice for me since it uses Dewalt batteries. Some others commented that it is a little difficult to insert and remove the batteries. I have not experienced that issue on my blower. To me it doesn't feel any different than inserting those batteries on my other Dewalt tools. Also, many people commented on how loud it is. Since I have used other similarly-sized blowers, I have not found this one to be any louder. They all are loud, but to me they not ear-piercingly loud. Also, in my case, I have a set of ear protectors nearby and often am already wearing them when it's time to use this blower. There are three things about this blower that I don't like. The first is the safety switch that you have to hold down while pulling the "on" trigger. Aside from the fact that where it is located it is a bit awkward to hold down the safety switch while turning the blower on, the safety switch is not needed at all (at least not in my view). Several of my power tools (like my sanders) don't have a safety switch. Only my saws do. So in my view, the safety switch shouldn't even be on this blower.Second, the button used to lock trigger on also uses an awkward design. Often I engage it when it isn't intended, and other times it is somewhat difficult to engage when I do want to use it.Third, while I give the manufacturer kudos for having a low, medium, and high setting, once again it is implemented in an awkard manner. It is a button at the bottom of the blower that when pressed toggles through the low, medium, and high settings. But the speed setting is not retained when you turn the blower off, and it defaults back to high when turned back on. To me, the better design would be to have a variable-speed trigger. That would be a lot more convenient and useful. All in all, though, the blower is very useful to me, and in spite of the above shortcomings, I like it and use it regularly. Of course, the main reason I like it is because it's battery powered, and in particular Dewalt-battery-powered.I do recommend it, and I would buy it again.

Breaks/internal electronics stop working
Avoid this Air Duster. Great idea in theory but it is made poorly. The electronic internals are junk. All I use it for is to dust off my computer keyboard. It sits next to my computer and I dust off my computer every morning for literally 2 seconds. I was trying to not buy the canned air and add to the trash. After 4 months this Duster stopped working. I have 6 different 20v DeWalt batteries and the Duster doesn't work with any of them now. The Duster will recognize a new/fully charged battery when you first put it on, pull the trigger and the Duster kicks on and then the immediately dies, even the DeWalt battery's charge indicator lights won't work as if the battery is completely dead. Remove the battery and the charger lights work fine again showing the battery is fully charged, will run my drills and saws just fine. This happens with all my DeWalt 20v batteries. So, my batteries are fine, my DeWalt tools work fine. I also have 2 of DeWalt's new 20v Power Stack batteries, this Duster doesn't recognize those batteries at all even when it was new and working "fine". Only the XR 20v worked initially. If you're buying this, get the Asurion Insurance and be prepared to use it.

Works Great…Powerful
I was surprised on the power this product produces. Has become a great tool addition for cleaning up equipment after use in the work shop. Uses my DeWalt tool batteries, powerful cleaning air blower, great attachments. One even came in very helpful to clean the inside of the lint trap valley of the dryer. Usually use my air compressor but so much more convenient and can be used away from the work shop on site.

Great little blower but with a big roar!
I anxiously unpacked this little blower, stuck a 20V battery in it, held it close to my face, pointed it at my wife sitting on the couch and pulled the trigger. Unfortunately she’s the one that got the big laugh when I got blasted with an ear splitting roar! Holy cow, this thing’s a screamer! I work in a copper mine around a lot of big noisy machinery and this is uncomfortable to me. On the plus side, it is a great little blower for blowing metal shavings and saw dust off my work bench, and for dusting or drying parts, and it seems to be well built. It’s easy to be lazy and reach for the canned air duster, but those things are expensive. When I use this, I partially cup my free hand over the back suction end to help with the noise. I’ll have to ponder some kind of silencer for this. I would definitely recommend this for the shop but not for an office setting with people around.UPDATE: A quick and easy way to help quiet down the noise a little is to use the deflation adapter on the back-suction side of the blower. Just remove the filter holder and replace it with the deflation adapter. You can easily unscrew the plastic hose from the adapter fitting. Doing this really cuts down on the howl of the air being sucked into the blower. It probably does decrease efficiency a little, but not much. I went ahead and cut a few inches of hose from the deflation hose and attached that to help quite the blower down a little more. Much more pleasant to use!P.S. Now I’m getting another one for the house!
