FIP fittings worked, but using Teflon tape caused a small leak of about 0.5 psi per hour. I ended up using the included red bottom gel, which seal permanently, and those solved the issue completely.With the proper caps installed, the tank holds 30 psi for two hours with no pressure loss. Since I only need 20 psi for resin, this is more than enough.
