## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it require gear reset? Or is it installed with existing shims?**
A: Installing the Aussie Locker does not require a ring and pinion setup. You simply remove the spider gears and replace with the Locker gears. You will re-use the spider gear thrust washers.

**Q: How difficult is it to install this for an amateur without special tools?**
A: No special tools required. If you have any mechanical experience it's not hard at all. Take pictures before you start taking parts off so you will be able to put it back together correctly. You will have to pull both axles out. Don't know what your working on so can't give you any more advise. Good luck

**Q: Does it come with the hardened cross pin?**
A: No. Typically it's totally OK to reuse your stock cross pin. Our TORQ Locker for Dana 30 comes with a new Chromoly cross pin as our Premium line.

**Q: Will this work on the front Dana 30 of a1990 jeep Cherokee**
A: yeah it'll fit, my buddy runs one in his 94. The diff carrier stays the same for 95% of dana 30s
