Would you boil it up first with water on the stove and then add everything to the slow cooker?** A: Hello.....To be quite honest I have never used a slow cooker, but I would just try what you think and see.I do not do it the way they say anyway. What I do with this paste is get the amount I want and crumble it into a powder in a bowl or jug and stir in boiling water, the I just add it to the meat or veg I have already startedcooking in the wok or pot..........I rarely follow instructions but then again I'm no cook !!!! :) **Q: Help, followed recipe, didn't thicken. What did I do wrong?
