It says it has 10g of collagen, which on most labels I've seen ends up being 9g of protein and somewhere between 36-50 calories, but the protein and calorie info is missing. If that weren't the case, I could give it 4/5 instead of 3/5.In the container, it smells like hot chocolate powder. Once mixed up with water, it tastes quite a bit like that, though it's a thinner consistency and slightly weaker flavor. I did try mixing it with milk, but I didn't care for how that tasted - the powder's flavor wasn't strong enough to mask the underlying milk flavor (which I don't care for).I've been mixing it with about 5oz of hot water in a plastic bottle without a mixer ball, and most of it dissolves easily. There'll be a few small clumps left behind, and then I add the last 3oz I heated up to get that part.I haven't noticed any significant impact on falling asleep / staying asleep / sleep quality, compared to any other magnesium or melatonin.
