WARNING: YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE THERMAL PASTE WHERE THE HEATSINK SEATS ONTO THE GPU ITSELF. I used the Thermal Grizzle 4 gram syringe with the 6 pack thermal paste cleaning pads, I only used one to clean off the pad but better to have more than less in this situation. The thermal paste on your card will likely need to have it replaced anyways due to age so your card will run cooler on top of having an actual functional fan, trust me on this, come prepared so your not asking yourself why your needing to tear it apart a second time. AND DON'T FORGET TO PLUG IN THE FAN ONCE YOU INSTALL IT. I did but I managed to fish out the cable connector and plug it in since there was no way I was going to disassemble the whole thing again. probably from some loose cat hair or something, I could get it spinning manually by giving it a start but once it started spinning it gave an awful grinding sound so it had to go. Review: High quality - The fan is high quality and so far is the only one on the market as a replacement. It was easy to install and basically looks the same(except without the sticker) the noise level is actually near silent with the occasional wizz of the motor threat you can only hear in testing the gpu. The performance is a tad better than the original fan provided in the gpu.
