Very light and good utility shape to the blade. A little concerned that being light might mean that it won't take much abuse but time will tell. For less tham $30 i don't usually expect much anyway. This knife does not need a spring assist. Anyone saying that got a defective knife or does not know how to use a flipper. It opened so easy for me the first time i checked to make sure it wasn't an assisted opening knife but a flipper was already my everday carry.
