**Q: Is the handle detachable?  Does the lid secure easily and stay secured?**
A: No, the handle is not detachable. Yes, the lid secured easily and stayed secured. We enjoy this popcorn popper. All the kernels popped; none left over.

**Q: Will this popcorn popper fit my gm 305 (5.0l) engine or is just for evinrude marine engines?**
A: This is a popcorn popper and is used for camping or backyard fire places to pop popcorn.  I have Evan used it in my wood burning fireplace. It has nothing to do with engines.

**Q: Is this made in USA**
A: I checked their website and it isn't immediately clear where these are made.  You may need to just fill out an online contact form for questions!

**Q: The clip for the lid doesn't stay latched does anyone know a fix?**
A: It is possible that the clip has been bent away from the shape that lets it be a tight grab.  You can see how/where it feels loose when you go to latch it, then carefully make small bending adjustments towards the direction of being more tight.  I just went to the basement to get mine to look directly at shape and such.  You can remove that curved metal loop that is the latch by pinching in the edges so it can be slightly rotated and removed from that little bit that's riveted to the lid....THEN you can use something to shield skin or metal to cushion how you might be flexing it.....I just  played with a bit of adjustment of mine and spreading the closed end loop further AWAY from the open end of the metal loop.....You can also make the opened end of the metal loop more spread out before you put it back into the bit riveted to the lid.  I can do these things with my hands, but I'm a tall male with good hand strength.  Do small adjustments at a time and keep retrying.....metal can't be bent too far from its current shape (and all the built-in tensions and such) before the metal is flexed too much.  But the adjustments I made were more than enough to "fix" the looseness without over flexing the metal.  Good luck!!
