**Q: What are the 'paneled back and sides' made of? Is the top made of solid wood? Thank you**
A: Hi it's my understanding that they are MDF mine is in my art studio and it's holding an extremely heavy load and the frame or shell seems to have an extremely robust construction and I'm extremely happy with it. A note of caution the baskets aren't so robust but they rest on solid shelves and I support the bottoms of the baskets when I pull them out. Light loads like shoes or towels wouldn't be a problem. I hope this helps.

I love this unit, absolutely fabulous, I bought it as a storage unit in my art studio. It's extremely well designed and sturdily built and I picked it over a cheaper unit that was superficial the same but had some extremely poor reviews, I have not been disappointed. One word of caution the baskets are not designed for weight but rest on a solid support/base which makes up for this, you should support the bottoms of the draws when going into them if storing heavy items in them like me. Everybody who comes in my studio loves this unit. Speedy delivery.

I read the reviews and chose this one over a cheaper one it is so lovely. I use it to store toys in and is ideal. It's strong and sturdy and the drawers are a great quality to. Excellent service. The delivery guys took it all out the packaging and took the packaging with them. So so pleased with this unit. Was just what I was looking for.

The chest appears to be well made and I am pleased with its appearance,it is very sturdy and I am grateful it was delivered assembled! The baskets are quite rigid, dried out and already small pieces are snapping off. I wonder how long they will last. If you are ordering please be specific with the delivery instructions. The chest was only delivered as far as concierge in my block, there was no attempt to ring my doorbell to check if I was in. When I contacted the company they said the drivers had never dealt with concierge before and I should have been specific that I wanted the item delivered to my door! It is quite heavy for one person to try to move.Overall pleased with my purchase but I feel it is probably not worth the £219.99 price tag.
