They are comfy enough - havent' tried any long distances but they work for work and shopping. They don't look like sneakers so I can satisfy the work requirement of "no athlethic shoes" without denying my need to be a bit different from the crowd.Can't zip them up when they're on my feet, have to zip them then put them on (takes a minute or so). Looks like they're way long but when I'm standing, there's only a half inch or so from my toes to the end.Good looking shoe for $15.99. I'll definitely try other Grasshopper styles, especially if these hold up. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Started out well *by P***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2012* I really liked the looks of these shoes (blue, 11AA) and thought they would fit in well in Europe, which they did. When I first put them on they were tight and hard to get on...I expected that for breaking in. But after a week or so, they became so loose that I can now slip them on without using the zippers. This is a good thing since one zipper is now "frozen" in the closed position (thank goodness it was in the closed position). My feet swim in them even though they are AAs. If I wear thick socks (like the regular white ones worn with gym shoes) they fit better, but white socks do not look good! I continue to wear them, but they are lacking. I did not find them too short and think a 10 narrow would have worked too, but went up a size due to the reviews.
