Small and they stay in! I tried some thread/screw-in flat backs first but I couldn’t fit two pairs in with the size of the backs. And they kept unscrewing and falling out. These were a little harder to get in, but once they are in they stay in place. I think the instructions in the description said to bend the post but I found that impossible and just stuck them straight in and have had no issues. Flat backs are absolutely they way to go for anyone who hates having their head stabbed by earring posts. These have been and will be my everyday wear studs. I think I got the 2mm size stone which was also smaller than most studs. 3mm sizes just are a bit too crowded since my stacked piercings are like micro-stacked so not a lot of room. This size was also perfect for me. Seem to be hypoallergenic as I’m not having any issues with the metal. This set allowed me to have 2 pairs in, and 1 pair as back up. Wins all around.
