GM Genuine Parts are the true OE parts installed during the production of or validated by General Motors for GM vehicles. Some GM Genuine Parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco GM Original Equipment (OE). Review: Solid OEM Fit & Easy Install - When my ’13 Chevy Malibu started idling rough and felt sluggish under light load, I figured it was time to swap the PCV valve. I opted for the genuine GM Parts 12642631 Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve, and I’m glad I did—it was a straightforward upgrade that brought my engine back to life. Installing it took just a few minutes: I popped the hood, pulled the old valve out of its grommet, and pressed the new one in—nice and snug, just like the factory part. No wiggling or force needed, and it sealed right away. I didn’t even need special tools; a flathead to pop the hose clip was all it took. Close to 200 miles later, I’ve noticed smoother idling, steadier vacuum readings, and peppy response when I ease on the gas. No hesitation, no rough chugs—just a calm, idle hum like a car that’s well-maintained. The valve itself feels rugged—sturdy plastic with those little guard ribs on top that keep dust and grit out. Comes labeled with the GM part number, so there’s no second-guessing whether it’s the right piece. It’s a small part with a big payoff. If you’re experiencing rough idle, check engine light, or just powering through regular maintenance, this OEM-grade PCV valve slides in and does exactly what it should without complications. Easy install, perfect fit, and noticeable smoothness—this one’s a solid win. Review: Good quality - This was exactly what it said it was. The part fit on the car without any problems at all. ## Features - Some GM Genuine Parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco GM Original Equipment (OE) - GM Genuine Parts are designed, engineered and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors - GM Engineers design and validate OE parts specifically for your Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, or Cadillac vehicle - GM regularly updates production and service part designs to integrate new materials and technologies ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B085S74VXX | | Best Sellers Rank | #108,680 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #124 in Automotive Replacement PCV Valves | | Brand | GM GENUINE PARTS | | Brand Name | GM GENUINE PARTS | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.9 out of 5 stars 63 Reviews | | Included Components | PCV Valve Tubing | | Item Type Name | PCV Valve Tubing | | Item Weight | 1.44 ounces | | Manufacturer | GM Genuine Parts | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 24 Month / Unlimited Mile Limited Warranty (Parts Only).
