It charges. But mine also cycles. While charging, my MBP (Late 2013) goes through a 1- to 5-minute cycle where:- The adapter light is green, and the MBP's percent charged is, e.g. 49%, and the icon is the battery with the black lightning bolt, outlined with a black line, which usually indicates, when 100%, that the adapter is plugged in and capable of charging but does not need to.- After a few seconds, the light on the T-plug goes amber, and the battery charges, and the icon shows correctly for active charging.- After seconds or minutes, the light on the T-plug goes off, and the icon shows just a battery without a lightning bolt across it.Through this cycle, the battery still gets charged, but I do worry sometimes about whether this is good for the MBP's battery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great price and works well! *by A***I on April 28, 2018* Perfect and works great.
