Let's be honest, all we care about is whether or not these little pellets actually work. They do. Not only do they cushion rocks (thus avoiding the ever-discouraging bruises on cleaning day), but they actually help improve the tumbling process. Simply put, they make sure grit gets to all those hard-to-reach places.2) They're reusable. And they last a LONG time. I've reused the same pellets for my course grit phase 4-5 times now and they still look the same as after their first tumble. Easy to clean and separate, they make like a lot easier.Cons:1) You'll need more than you think. If you really want them to help, you'll want your rocks packed pretty tightly with these pellets. Meaning? You'll probably be using more than anticipated. Again, it's well worth it--and the pellets are reusable, so you'll get your money back in usage.
