The fan is 235 CFM so while it may cool a larger room, it won't do it fast - just not enough airflow to qualify that. but once it gets to temp it will hold pretty well (again, so far). Purchased 2 weeks ago and only needed to use 4 days. The remote app s nice -especially since this area mostly where our dogs are. It seems to be pretty efficient. Only about 7.6A @120VAC full draw.

so FAR works very well. Fairly quiet. This unit is perfect for my studio apt! 500 sq ft. Main room 350 sq ft, 9 1/2 ft ceiling, large openings to the kitchen, and long hallway to the walk-in closet and bathroom. Not noisy, but comfortable “white noise” at night. No problems at all with the drainage. Just a drop after one week. I live in a low humidity environment and keep my windows closed while using. Quick cool down, and even helps a bit in the kitchen. Great price for a 12,000 btu portable air conditioner!
