Review: Best rechargeable fan - We don't have air conditioning and live where it routinely gets to be above 100 F in the summer...fans are crucial to surviving. These do an amazing job of moving air, even on the lowest setting, and have a great battery life. I am able to bring this with me from room to room so I can use it where I need it. I even use it in the kitchen when I am cooking! I've also brought this with me to play bingo because I run hot and they generally keep it too warm for me. This fan is whisper quiet and keeps me cool while not annoying my fellow players or interfering with the game. When I'm worried about possibly running out of battery away from home, I just use a portable battery pack that I keep for my phone and charge up the fan. And it still turns on whether you're charging it from a wall or from a portable battery pack so you never need to go without a breeze to keep you cool.

I think it would make a thoughtful house gift, even for someone who isn't usually good with gadgets, like maybe an older relative (be sure to get them a USB wall adapter too--this fan, like most USB devices, doesn't come with one). Does what it needs to do! Cute, small, perfect for my desk. Holds charge well. The only thing I will say is that the fan doesn’t stay upright, it kind of shifts to face downward.
