**Q: Anyone tried using this under a portable gas grill?**
A: I guess…the grill would probably poke holes in it,

**Q: Will this eventually remove the finish of a painted wooden nightstand if left on for a period of time?**
A: I don’t think it will,
But I used mine on quartzite, so can’t really speak to the painted wood

**Q: Can this be cut down to a pizza pan diameter and used in the oven for baking up to 400F-450F?**
A: Although the heat resistant is between -40°F and 446°F, but not suggest using in the oven for baking.

**Q: Can they be put in the microwave under a soup bowl?**
A: I would NOT recommend it. For starters the mats are over two feet long, way too big for most home microwaves. Just get a regular plastic cover if you want to cover your soup bowl. Or put Saran wrap over it and nuke it 1 or 2 minutes at a time.

it collects dust and it gets attached to it. Its very difficult to clean it cause afterwards it again collects dust and dirt particles. It wont be suitable for plates, cups or any other kitchen utensils as it gets dirty easily. There can be other use for this such as a stopper on a table or anything else which wont be a concern when dust/dirt is collected.
