The shielding appears solid as I haven't experienced any noticeable signal interference. Getting 5 cables in the pack is convenient for multiple projects or having spares on hand, as the U.FL connectors can be delicate if you're frequently disconnecting and reconnecting.One minor note: the U.FL connector requires careful alignment when attaching - you'll feel a distinct click when properly connected.
