It uses very little battery power and doe's a great job should your aerator fail or under performs on your bass boat. I made one adjustment to improve a design flaw. the to tabs that locks the aerator together are weak. I would recommend using two zip ties to support holding the aerator together. With that little adjustment this aerator is a great back-up system for tournament fishing.
