First, it comes in 12-in sturdy sections (thicker like a pipe not a flimsy tube) that are screwed together to get within inches of your desired length. Secondly, the telescoping piece is at the end - not in the middle like all others. This provides greater stability to the rod (no more middle sagging) and a better overall look. Lastly, the pieces come together tightly leaving the seams hardly noticeable and making curtain/ring catching nonexistent. If the end caps aren’t to your liking, those are interchangeable with standard market options. The only downside I can see is the lack of color options, but (unless using rings) spray paint can fix that.I did not expect such a great product at this price. I also love that the gold isn’t like a super yellow gold it’s the perfect shade.
