I did a wash, clay and a polish before applying this stuff as i wanted a clean slate for it to bond to the car. It's a shame the sun wasn't out when I took the pics, but you can still see a deep reflection on the pics. It really does give a flawless result. The beading is good and drops off the moment the car is in motion. I haven't any water marks after the rain has been on it and dried. I'm very fussy when detailing my car and I can honestly say it's great stuff. It will last ages too as I only used a small amount that was on the underside of the lid. However, my tin didn't come with an applicator, only a microfibre cloth for buffing off. The microfibre cloth is of no use when applying a wax which meant I had to buy a separate foam applicator. Once I had an applicator I could use the wax, apply a very thin coat, its all you need, and leave it to cure, you can see it when it's ready.
