It's much bigger than I expected, but it's perfect for all my jewelry with room to spare. The bottom drawer opens only when you open the top, which is locked with a combination lock. You can see in the picture that the pink leather inside is in fact a little pocket. The lock works very well, but I suggest storing it in a fake position to lessen the chance of someone opening it. My only complaint is that the bottom drawer doesn't open very far.
