I use this to keep my Porsche battery charged by connecting it to the 12-volt auxiliary port (ensure your car has the "smoking package"). It is so much easier to use than connecting directly to the battery! You just need to roll the window down a bit to let the cable inside. The red light on this connector shows it is working properly.
