However, right in the product info it says, "Does NOT work for vehicle homelink training." I didn't understand the importance of that warning before I bought them, if I even read it. So now 2 years later, I just got a newer car with the homelink remote control in the mirror, and I could not program it with the Amazon remotes. My garage door opener is a Liftmaster Pro/Chamberlain chain drive opener, part number: 41AC050-2 , model number: 3265, made in 2007. My model of opener and apparently many others, REQUIRE AN ORIGINAL LIFTMASTER remote control to program a homelink remote in a car. Just like the product info said! duh So if you don't have one, you're going to have to buy or borrow one to program a homelink remote in your car.
