Mythic Game Master Emulator Second Edition (Mythic Role Playing And Game Master Emulator Series)

I've been a role player for forty odd years and attempted some solo rules from time with little success. This system is really what I wanted to create and works well with a lot of systems (certainly all of those in my bookshelf) but after a lot of experimenting I found the most ideal one to be the mythic system itself. As a solo player you have only yourself to please, you really don't need all that complex mathematical formulae to justify a result. Easy, simple and flowing is best. After all you are making stories and prompting your imagination to do this and if you are a role player at heart you have a good imagination anyway. Thank you Mythic, a fine product indeed. Keep up the good work!

Blast through the book and then you don't need it much other than reference tables after that. The system is a good meta tool when solo ttrpg-ing and can be used entirely on it's own or in conjunction with another system. Not just good for GMing, it's good for flowing through a solo game without getting bogged down in the rules you are not sure about. Not learned all of a ttrpg but still wanna use it? Just use Mythic whenever you don't know what to do with the other system, just gotta be careful to make yourself learn the other system properly or you might become a lazy GM if/when you play with other people. The Good quality hard cover, pretty good design although its probably more wordy than it needs to be to flesh out the book and make you feel you are buying more than you are. Don't think wordy books are too much of an issue with ttrpg geeks though!
