Especially for battery intensive apps like GPS while driving. Where I can get it to work with music and podcasts I cannot get it to work with the mic for phone calls. I usually cannot hear or speak to the person and have to switch to Apple connector and headset and forego being able to charge. Which is tedius and a waste of time and resource. If I am doing something wrong let me know and I will gladly change review. I was going to return them... but have not... but I would not recommend if you are wanting to make calls and charge at same time.
