Is it safe for color-treated hair?** A: In response to your question and other answers, Methosulfate is not a true sulfate, it is a non-sulfate derived from rapeseed oil. It is curly girl approved and provides extra slip in your shampoo. Thus, this shampoo IS sulfate free. **Q: has anyone used this as a co-wash? It is listed in the instructions that this conditioner can be used this way.** A: I have tried using it as a co-wash, but i have fine hair so it was too heavy. I think for someone with curly, thick or coarse hair it would work very well. I used to use the Carols Daughter Rosemary Mint Clarifying Conditioner as a co-wash and it works great but I think has been discontinued. **Q: How is the pump unlocked?** A: I had a hard time making the neck pop up so I can pump it on my palm, I have arthritic hands.............the cap should be re-designed so it's user friendly for people of all ages who enjoy this product. **Q: Sounds like this may be a fake product?** A: I bought it and it wasn’t fake from what I could see.
