It goes on naturally. It is impossible to tell I am wearing foundation. but let me tell you I have flawless skin so I am not really looking for something to cover anything up. So glad to be able to buy this on Amazon, since stores stopped carrying products. My skin is 40 yr old. Asian, combo type with some fine lines, and shade NC 20-25. In the past I have been matched with beige (which has a tendency to lean grey) or yellow (which leans artificial yellow). The shade 06 has enough natural yellow tone to brighten my skin. The silicone formulation settles down to a natural, medium coverage and allows my face to flex. I was able to test IT CC cream (no pore coverage and fines lines overemphasized) and came back to this. Love it. I have extremely sensitive skin and this is one of the few that I haven't had a reaction to it dried my skin out. Light coverage. If you are looking for heavy coverage this is not the product for you. Had to go a little darker in shade for this brand than I typically do. The shade I would normally go with or would match with other lines in the past was two shades too light. In pretty much all other lines I'm medium or medium neutral.
