These glasses are small enough to be slipped in a pocket and kept with you wherever you're going; the case being the size of a small pencil case and just over 5" long. I've taken these cycling and motorcycling - both activities making it annoying or uncomfortable to have a full size pair of glasses and case sitting in your pocket. As I only really need glasses for reading I also use them when going out generally, so I've got something to use 'just in case'. And yes, they are well put together and fit-for-purpose. Do I use them at home? No. But I've had a pair for nearly a year and lost them recently. That really made me realise how useful they were and how I'd come to rely on them in certain circumstances. I just had to get them replaced, and at this price it's low enough to grab a couple of pairs.
