Last year I purchased one for my daughter and now my son is attending a new school which they don't have microwaves at this school. We live on a island where the schools here is where you provide the lunch for your kids. So with a Thermo it is a bit more useful to send my kids with a hot meal that I promptly make in the morning and is still warm by lunch time. Only part is I cant say as to why some of the foods I make for my children will stay warm enough by the 5 hours but yet some do stay hot enough.
