Review: Great M2 SSD Expansion for PS5 - A touch more expensive than other M2 SSD Expansion Cards bar the official PlayStation certified one's. You need one with a Heatsink !. It was easy to actually install in the PS5 and like so many other PS5 owners the hardest part is removing the PS5 covers which after 2 attempts just popped off no trouble. I even gave my PS5 a quick clean and vacuum. The SSD is Lightening fast and a fraction faster than the internal PS5 one but only just. You can still have an External SSD drive via the USB connected as well. I have over 4TB of storage space now.

A touch more expensive than other M2 SSD Expansion Cards bar the official PlayStation certified one's. You need one with a Heatsink !. It was easy to actually install in the PS5 and like so many other PS5 owners the hardest part is removing the PS5 covers which after 2 attempts just popped off no trouble. I even gave my PS5 a quick clean and vacuum. The SSD is Lightening fast and a fraction faster than the internal PS5 one but only just. You can still have an External SSD drive via the USB connected as well. I have over 4TB of storage space now.
