I have had three back surgeries and can’t see the clock across the room at night. I put this in a cloth pouch with a Velcro strap and hung it on my bedpost next to my head. When I wake up in the dark of night and push the button, it lights up in a bright blue and it shows the Weekday-Month - Year & Time. An added bonus is the humidity in the room. Although I was able to adjust the settings when I change the battery, it is very difficult to set.
