It lasted several years before it stopped charging. I asked for one for Christmas. I charged it and it NEVER WORKED. So, I returned it immediately, ordered another, and now this one worked for about 5 days and WILL NOT RE-CHARGE. I wish it worked because within those few days, my complexion had greatly improved. But -- there is something wrong with the current production. Be sure to place the unit facing to the front (the cord will be coming straight to the back of the charging stand).The small size is comfortable to use and easier to manipulate than the original style with the handle. When you turn the unit on there is a tiny number to the side of the green light letting you know if you are using”1” for soft or “2” for a slight bit more cleansing. Both settings do not twist or damage your skin and the results will be evident after you rinse your face.
