This works well for very thin wires if the connection will not be under any tension. I used it to re-wire the switch in a small, clip-on, light and it works fine. It's just conductive filings in liquid glue. Make sure you mix it well. I applied it with a toothpick. It will probably not work for large wires or if the connection is under any tension. Also, you will have to find a way to hold things together while the glue dries. **Q: My kindle charger end isn't connecting to the kindle fire, would this hold the end in place and make contact and charge?** A: This won't work for this. I have repaired several Kindle charging ports and you will need to purchase a new connector and solder it in place on the circuit board of the Kindle.
