It is the perfect size for the application I had in mind and though the area is dry the IP67 rating is a further bonus. For the application in mind I might have got away with one of lesser spec but the impressive output and perhaps most compelling - rapid delivery - swung it.One of our garage door lifters had gone down and I saw that simple 1-4 channel, wireless-controlled switches are available for only a few pounds delivered! The circuit in question needs a supply of 12v and as it will be always on but have a minimal load, I thought this transformer would be perfect.It supplies the 4-channel wireless-activated relay perfectly and thus far unfalteringly. The in and out leads are a little short and not easy to lengthen without joining them in some way but in point of fact this imposed a discipline on me to keep things close, tidy and neat (not my usual practice!). Please note that I am no electrician but wiring was straightforward and I soon had the garage doors working again - my wife was most impressed by my skills and then I could uncross my fingers behind my back as they worked!
