Review: Nice knobs. - Well made, attractive knob set. None of the horrible looseness and rattles that you get from some cheap rim latch knob sets. Would be nicer if it came with traditional slot head screws rather that pozi, but that's a minor thing that is easily changed later.

**Q: Does the internal handle have a screwhole to affix to the spindle?**
A: The spindle is fixed to the right hand handle in the picture. The left hand handle ( that goes on the rim lock) has a grub screw to secure it to the spindle.

**Q: How do you attach the ring to the door with the knob in the way of the screwdriver?**
A: with a long thin screwdriver which has a head matched to the screw.  It is a bit of the fiddle, but mark and drill the holes first without the ring and screw in the screws nearly all the way, before putting the ring in place and screwing down.  A blob of wax on the tip of the screw helps it go in smoothly

**Q: The knob has came detached from the plate that you screw to the door. Can this be fixed? Should i return?**
A: I don't know if that is fixable, but I would return it anyway, in case you try and fix it and mess it up.

**Q: Hello, what is the spindle bar length? I have a thick door and rim lock and I want to make sure it will fit.**
A: Thank you for your enquiry.
The diameter is 8mm and is designed to fit most rim locks.

These are a good quality item, easy to install and represent value for money.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost perfect, but....

These door knobs really look quality. They appear to be solid brass rather than plated. They were easy to fit, with one problem. On the set I had, the thread for the grub screw had not been cleanly cut. I could not get the supplied brass grub screw to go in more than a couple of millimetres. I managed to resolve the problem by using a similarly-sized STEEL grub screw to tap the hole properly. Once I had done this, I was able to insert the brass grub screw successfully. If I hadn't had a set of steel grub screws to hand, I would have been sending the product back. You may find that you do not have this problem and I still recommend this product for its otherwise excellent build quality.
