This will let you do it. I thought it was a gimmick when I first heard of stuff like this, and man was I wrong. I use it all the time now. It is to a circular saw what a ruler is to a pencil. Positives for this particular one: the stuff above. It is really light. And the actual measuring ruler comes in handy more often than you’d think. Negatives: it goes down below plywood more than you’d expect, meaning you have to juggle the wood a bit carefully. It’s not a t-square, so it’s doesn’t make itself exactly square without you nudging it. And while it *can* be used on much smaller wood, it’s really awkward to. So the smaller versions of this are better for smaller jobs.
