You have to take the frame off the wall to add a picture to the storage section, which isn’t a big deal. The front photo (the one you see) is a proper photo frame with a backing that holds the image in place, unlock other similar storage frames I’ve seen, which is really nice. These have been holding up well and my kiddo loves having his art on the wall among his professional artist relatives!
