It does fade Slightly like any hair dye **Q: Has any one had any success in getting purple hair with this? I've used this with a mix of majicontrast magenta and a 3% peroxide** A: I got a more plum type shade of the magenta when I tried that. Couldn't get it to a string purple **Q: Do you need to use a developer or can you just put this on your hair?** A: Hi Rosie, you need to use a developer. If your hair is a level 6 or lighter use a 6%. If your hair is a bit darker (it will lift a bit) or you want it really bright, use a 9%. If you use the whole tube, 50mls, you will need 75mls of developer. Don't forget your patch test. **Q: Are the shades similar to home box colour?
