**Q: Do the drawer slides use ball barrings?**
A: Not sure, they have a metal and plastic draw runners. They work very smoothly, I suspect no ball bearings but it comes assembled and so not easy to see.

**Q: How does this work with either foolscap or A4 hanging files? Are the rails ajustable?**

Depending on the size of files, you can either use the sides of the draws or there is an additional bar that is supplied that can also be used.
