Besides the DIN Dimmer can meter the energy of the connected devices. The DIN Dimmer is installed on the DIN rail and is controlled by Z-Wave or manually over a toggle switch. The DIN Dimmer can be installed inside the junction box of your house besides the common electrical installation. On one side the DIN Dimmer is connected to a lamp and on the other side to a toggle switch, which can switch the lamp manually. Great replacement for X10 LD11 module. Work great with SmartThings *by A***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 February 2018* I have bought 10 of these w to work with my SmartThings box. I have very pleased with these dinners which are working brilliantly with my dimmerable led lights. The dimmers are flicker free and have been great replacement to my old X10 LD11 dimmers. I needed to use the correct device handler with SmartThings but then worked great. I can still use the switch to switch on, off and dim up & down. I will be buying some more to replace my remaining X10 modules.
