It has three different positions that you could use. I currently have mine set in the middle one which is 12” height from the bottom of the cabinet, it’s also 12 inches to the top from the top of the shelf to the top of the cabinet interior. I bought it in black. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It looks good. The drawer glides work nicely, and the soft close door hinges help make this a quality product that I can really appreciate. Unlike another brands baker's cabinet that I just put together with crap drawer glides and little cheap pop button hinges, the manufacturers of this little microwave cart went the extra mile to provide quality hardware, including smooth rolling caster wheels. The wheels roll smoothly, and the hinges and drawer work well, without any hitches or catches. I bought the smallest size, but I'm surprised by how much storage space it has.
