It has a shaker on the top which makes it easy to add just the right amount of food to your tank. The food also does float on the top of the water not just sinking slowly to the bottom. I love that giving all of my fish time to eat without it just going straight to the bottom and creating waste. The bottle is big making it worth the money. Also all my fish likes the taste because they ate every bit of the food that was floating on top of the water.
