I did notice that it had an unpleasant grittiness about it when turning it or unscrewing any of the sections, kind of like that plate scratching cutlery sort of feeling, however doing this a few times to break it in and giving it a wash and dry after sorted this out no problem, everything glides nice and smoothly now.Unfortunately when my package turned up, it looked like it had been opened already and closed again. The grinder had a sticky black residue down the side, as if a sticker had been stuck to it previously, but I was able to clean this off with some isopropyl alcohol and Masterdam were nice enough to refund me 20% for my trouble. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by J***H on 5 July 2018* Very good product as explained thanks again ### ⭐⭐ Pay the extra and choose the gunmetal option *by L***. on 10 January 2018* The satin silver doesn't feel that sturdy, it grinds pretty well but I was expecting the grinder to feel stronger.
