Product Description Givenchy Pour Homme Blue Label is a woody spicy fragrance for men, which was created by Alberto Morillas and Ilias Ermenidis and launched n 2004 by Givenchy. The top notes are citrus ones, with Grapefruit being paired alongside Bergamot. The heart notes combine Pepper, Lavender, Cardamom and Artemisia; whilst the bae contains Cedar, Vetiver and Olibanum. The scent is an easy to wear one, with a fresh opening, thanks to the Citrus notes, before the Pepper becomes a dominant note, and then finally the woody notes in the dry down. The fragrance is a very versatile one, suitable to be worn year round, though is especially suitable for the warmer weather of Spring and Summer. Review: Lovely, bright and fresh with hints of Givenchy Gentleman - Usually a wearer of Givenchy gentleman, thought I’d try this and glad I did. It’s not as strong / pungent as GG and doesn’t project quite as well or have quite as much of a presence, but it’s a lovely fresh, clean, bright and very addictive smell which still has notes of GG and can still be detected on skin and clothes the next morning. I’m not a lover of scents that are cloyingly sweet and this one isn’t. Also approx. £22 cheaper. Bottle is nice enough but could be a bit smaller. I would recommend to anyone that likes GG but maybe wants to try something a bit brighter and fresher.
