The first use (or replace the battery) need to matching frequency Step 1. Install two AAA 1.5V batteries, (note the positive and negative polarity inside the battery chamber), and finally close the battery cover, indicator will flash three times indicates that the battery is installed correctly. I used the existing pedal since the one that came with the kit was too small. The remote works well but since this model ride on doesn't have electronic steering, it's pointless. Make sure to have connectors ready along with heatshrink to connect wires to the existing/new parts. Now my 20V 1 seater ride on is faster then the 2 seater 12V. You are basically changing out the complete wiring harness for this one. You will need another 12V battery and I recommend the 24V 30000 RPM gearboxes.
