**Q: How do you connect the remote to the lamp after turning on the light?**
A: This answer is poorly translated and Devil's Advocate is a jerk.

To re-connect the remote, 1) unplug the lamp from the wall, 2) press and hold the left power button on the remote, then 3) quickly plug the lamp into the wall before the little red LED on the remote turns off. If done correctly, the lamp should blink.

**Q: My lamp turns it self on and off at random times - is there a fix for this?**
A: I have two such lamps in different rooms. Both turned on at 4:30am two nights ago while we were sleeping. I got up and turned them off individually, since the remotes are lamp-specific. They turned on again after 10 minutes. My wife got up and turned them off. There has been no problem after that. Could it be caused by a electro-magnetic pulse of unknow origin? All of my other electronic devices were not affected.

**Q: Do the lamps remember their individual settings when power is off? E.g. if I control it at a wall switch, will they remember brightness/temperature?**

### ⭐ Remote stopped working after 2 days

Very easy to assemble. I got the white lamp, but the remote is black, so it stands out if I keep it on the lap pole. The light is a lot more harsh and cold than I expected, esp. on the darkest, supposedly “warm” setting. But that seems to be the case with a lot of LED lights. The reason I’m returning this lamp is that the remote lost its “power on/off” function after 2 days of using. The other remote functions (dimming, color mode etc.) work fine, but I’m not able to turn the lamp off using the remote. Furthermore, I can’t even turn the lamp off by pressing the power button on the lamp pole. The only way to turn this thing off is to unplug it from the outlet. Obviously, not an acceptable solution. Something must have gone wrong with the power function, since all other features work fine. Too bad, because for the price and its modern, minimalistic look, I was going to keep it :(
